Roderick in the fall of the house of the usher?

We watched the movie in class and have to do a paper on it but im struggling on a few aspects. I need 5 strengths and weaknesses of the character Roderick but i only have 2 of each and need 3 more. Plus i need to know if he is static or dynamic character(which i never learned about), and i need help with internal and external conflicts. ( I have that he has the usher curse, and whether if he should kill Madeline) Any help would be greatly appreciated
