Problems with Gerber baby food?

We use the Gerber in the plastic containers with the cardboard around it and another brand called Beechnut. Our 6 month old loves it and he's extremely happy and healthy. Another kind we use is called Nature's Best. We haven't had a similar experience, but these are some notable replacements in case you don't feel safe with Gerber. I do wonder what's going on since I know Gerber's been around and trusted for a long time. When my sister was a baby that's what she had and that was like 20 years ago.
